Red face Beginners Training for Trading?

I do not want to waste all your time posting up trades when I do not have a viewable inventory. I looked into the inventory manager on this site but found it cumbersome and looked like it would take months to complete. So hoping to be pointed in the right direction so I can get started with the trading community. Should I make my own site? I was planning on perhaps doing break videos anyway...

    Just need the right information.

    Thanks

Sorry to add on: is there any software or app that can identify cards by using a camera? I know Magic the Gathering has an app like that.

Honestly my advice would be to just make a list of what you have and then if somebody is really interested you can just scan that card for them. If you accurately describe the condition of your cards and don't damage them out of the packs (by storing them properly) a scan isn't needed for 90% of cards.

I have all my rookies and inserts in Excel and then on my website. You just have to remember to update it when you get rid of something. The link is in my sig. I put my autos and jerseys in photobucket. I usually have good luck trading that way and don't need pics for the inserts and rookies unless someone requests one which is rare.

Wow Crzy, I like the way you have it setup. I have already separated my autos and jerseys. So I guess I'll box my bases up in their collective sets by number slowly to find duplicates. So do you even bother sleeving inserts that are worthless or just put them in a box as well? Also cards that are say worth a dollar, is it ok just to top load them or do you always use a sleeve inside a top loader?

Many more questions, but I'm going to filter them in slowly...

I actually keep my lower value inserts and rookies in binders by team in 9 pocket pages. I do use a sleeve inside a top loader for the higher value inserts and by that I mean anything over $5. I used to have everything in toploaders but I started running out of space. The albums are much easier to just put on shelves. And feel free to ask me any questions. I don't mind helping a fellow collector at all. I've been collecting since 99 so I have some experience..lol

    Wonderful stuff fellas

I am on the twitter, I checked your profile Jameis but couldn't see your username. What's the best way to add you all?

Also add on question: What is a good blog site with articles about which 90s-00s and current cards to collect. I've read stuff on beckett, cardboard connection and other major sites but I like a good read from another personal collector/writer. Also video if there's any good stories etc. I find the "breakers" to be more like sports touts aka less interesting.

Like I said slowly with the questions!! I feel like Johnny 5 : INPUT! INPUT!!!
