Series Discussion Thread - Round Two - Pittsburgh Penguins vs Washington Capitals

Third year in a row for these two teams squaring off - will the Penguins do it again as part of their march towards a third straight Championship, or do Ovi and the Caps get over the hump?

Another classic Pens/Caps series. Going to be another good one!

As much as I want Ovi to win a Cup one day, I don't think it will be this year. Penguins have a 1-0 series already with a huge Game 1 victory away from home, and Sid has been fantastic these playoffs.

Anything thing can happen in the playoffs though, so I'll be tuning in with excitement !

with Guentzel getting goals everytime he sneezes it's going to be hard for washington to keep up. On the other hand the laws of the universe indicate that everything will happen eventually so you'd think that washington cant lose to pittsburgh forever...

I feel like this year's matchup is even more exciting than any of the previous years. So much on the line with Pburgh going for 3 and Ovi getting older. Not too many Eastern Con matchups I get excited about, but this one is awesome.

Pensguins will once again take the series and it will be in 6 games, maybe even 5.
Crosby and guentzel are playing awazing hockey and so too is matt murray and sheary.

I have yhe Caps going to the Finals.... The fact nobody has 3peated since the Islanders... Pens have to lose sometime. Don't they?

Cannot believe anyone not been talking about this series as Ovy and Crosby been the face of the hobby for the last 10 years plus. A awesome series and games by both teams in this slugfest.

I want to say so many things but been too busy during the playoffs and when I do say stuff the haters all come out, so lets just enjoy the series.

Agreed, it's been an amazing series so far! Tonight's game was exciting as well. Can't wait for Game 6!

Crosby and Ovi have been great.
