It's halftime, and Cavs are up!
Cavs came out with great fire and energy early in the first quarter on their home court, as they needed to. Love absolutely beasted that first half, and Smith is finally playing inspired again. Hood was a great addition back to the lineup like I thought -- has played well on both ends. For Golden State, Curry and Thompson have been horrid so far. Durant had a monster first half though and kept the Warriors within single digits.
Cavs will need to ensure they don't have one of their third quarter lulls. Keep the pace going, keep getting inspired by the crowd, and hopefully put all the talk of sweep away once and for all. They need this one.

It was a good game and I enjoyed watching Durant's performance and LeBron's 31 point triple double ... though KD's awesome night it made me wish he was on the Thunder again ... it would have been fun seeing him and Westbrook battle the Curry/Klay/Dray/Barnes GSW team the past 2 years ... I just don't think KD realizes his rings will never be viewed the same way as other superstar's rings are viewed ... in the eyes of many fans, they will always be downgraded, but that's what happens when you go join the greatest team in regular season history right after they beat you in a series you were winning ...

Who's the MVP so far? Will LeBron get any votes like when received 4/9 of the votes for MVP in 2015?

This should be LeBron's 7th Finals MVP (Dirk and Tony Parker deserved their Finals MVP trophies against LeBron but he was by far the best player in the other 7 series) ... but my guess is Durant will win it again or maybe Curry even though neither deserve it.

Well that was a rough ending, but no one is surprised by a sweep. Amazed the Cavs came close in two of the games.
I hope James goes to the Rockets and lays the smack down on Durant next year. And I hope Love goes to the Jazz and is able to start putting up bigger numbers again, and learn defense in Quin Synder's scheme. He could still make the HOF if he has a few more productive years, but that won't happen if he stays with cLueless and the Cavs.

Next year Cleveland could be an interesting team, no Love, no LeBron! What if LeBron wanted to go to the Warriors? I don't think it would work, got to pay Durant and give Thompson an extension and a few other things to happen.
Congrats Warriors!Looking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!

Kevin Love is under contract for two more seasons at $49.7mil ... I doubt he's going anywhere. Unless LeBron forces the Cavs to sign and trade him and they can get back a player like Gordon Hayward or a package of solid players like Draymond Green + Andre Iguodala + Sean Livingston, they will likely be one of the worst teams in the NBA next year.
However, I do believe Love has a solid shot at getting into the Hall of Fame one day ... he should retire with HOF worthy stats, a very solid playoff resume and at least one ring.
As for LeBron ... he should have won his SEVENTH NBA Finals MVP Award tonight ... 34.0ppg, 10.0 apg, 8.5 rpg on 53% shooting is unreal and he was obviously the best player in the series ... regardless I believe Boston and Philly have the best rosters for him and are the best options for him ... as for Houston ... I think LeBron could lose his mind watching Harden & CP3 dribble the air out of the ball game in and game out, and I don't trust CP3 to stay healthy ... so I don't like the Houston fit for him
I don't want him in the Western Conference at all but if the Lakers can trade for Kawhi and sign Paul George to go along with LeBron, a starting five of Lonzo/PG13/Kawhi/LeBron/Randle would be nasty!
