    Tim Horton cards question

Probably a little early but does anyone know if Tim Hortons is going to release a set again this year and if so when?

I haven't heard anything official YET, but I can't see why they wouldn't. Same goes for Canadian Tire. Next year (2019-20) might be a different story if Panini comes online.

With this past year’s release, there wasn’t much info on it but they did go through with it.

I suspect this year it will be the same. I can’t see why not, as it was a big success in previous years.

it normally comes out mid to late september and there's no reason to think there won't be a set this year

i'm going to buy a pile of it like always. Tim Hortons is a very fun to collect set

EDIT: I wish they would shake it up a bit though from year to year. the first 2 years were nearly identical in terms of configuration. Actually...almost every upper deck product is like that now that I think about it.

I wish they would shake it up too, maybe add some more cool insert cards and more Player’s for young kids to collect.

I recall reading that back in the day, McDonald's Hockey cards were the product that actually made Upper Deck the most money. I'd be willing to bet that TH cards have taken that spot in the last two years. Cheap to make, and mass produced like crazy. I bet it's really good margins.

So long as Tim Horton's has seen a positive effect on their bottom line, there is no reason to think a new set won't come out.

I would assume that there are some store owners out there that hate the promotion though... so you never know. I definitely expect them back.
