This season we are going to take a different approach to the Season Long Football Contests. We are going to make them Weekly "minis". There will be a couple of different contests happening on any given week that will allow you to accumulate points. If you get the most points, you will for that week!

Weekly prizes will be posted later today or tomorrow (holiday weekend).


Lets start with the Weekly pick'em. There will be 20 games (NCAA and NFL) each week. 1 point for each correct guess

Welcome to the SCF Season Long Football Contest. This season we are going to try something different. We are going to run a weekly mini-contest. How this is going to work is the following:

Each week there will be 20 games each week from NFL and NCAA that you can pick from and in addition, there will be up to 30 questions about the week of play. The concept is simple, each correct answer will be worth 1 point. The most amount of points accumulated each week will win there choice to select 1 of 17 envelopes. The envelope will contain one of the following:

In addition, a couple of the envelopes will also contain a $50 code to be used at Steel City Collectibles. SCF thanks Sean and the team at Steel City for providing these codes. Please note, all shipping will be done at the conclusion of the contest.

As a 2nd part of the weekly contest, we will have a "beat the GM and/Owner". Both Roger and/or I will participate in the selections on a weekly basis. For members that score more than Scott or Roger on any given week, you'll get 100 Reward Points for this. If both Scott and Roger are in the contests for the week and you beat them BOTH, that will earn you 250 Reward Points.

Scott and Roger are NOT eligible to win any of the prizes.

I know it's a late start, but the deadline for week 1 is tomorrow (9/6) at 8:20pm EDT. I will be updating this thread weekly with the weekly link - I will try to have these ready for Monday morning.

I signed up to play this the other day. However, I thought it was just going to be "picks" of winners of football games. I just saw the "other" questions. Unfortunately, they are way too specific for me. Please remove me from the list of participants, as I know very little of "names", etc. of NFL players. THANKS. Have a good evening.
