So will this be the last year Jameis wears a Bucs uniform?

Before Bruce Arians was hired my reply may have been, "I hope so" as I always believe the most important thing a young QB can have is a quality organization to play for, and the Bucs have been anything but. However, now that Arians is in the fold, I feel much better about the organization.
Regardless, while I believe the Bucs have tried to get a long-term extension done at a solid number but Jameis' super-agent Joel Segal wants Jameis to wait until 2020 to "break the bank" when the new CBA comes in, I have no doubt if he refuses to sign a long-term extension and tries to force his way to free agency the team will simply franchise tag him.
No team is going to let go of a 25 year old QB coming off a season where he led the entire NFL in passer rating under pressure and outside the pocket, while also being #2 in the entire NFL in 3rd down conversion percentage and finishing top 5 in Raw QBR on a losing team (the ONLY other QB in the entire NFL to do that since Jameis was drafted was Drew Brees), if he's healthy. So, the ONLY way I see the Bucs letting Jameis go is if he ends the 2019 season with some serious injury and his future health is in doubt.
The above said, I think it's almost a sure-thing that Jameis is with the Bucs in 2020. However, if he and his agent do play hard-ball and get to free agency, he'll easily be the #1 free agent available and there will likely be a bidding war between the Broncos, Bengals, Raiders, Titans, 49'ers, and quite possibly teams like the Patriots, Chargers and/or Saints if their elderly QBs decide to retire.

Ah, ESPN, the poster-boy organization for "Jameis Winston Derangement Syndrome" ... so hilarious.
Recently "The Undefeated", ESPN'S "Woke Sports" division recently put out a video and asked who was the best "Black QB" in college history. Hilariously they left Jameis Winston off the list entirely but talked about SIX other "black QBs", none of whom has a better college resume than Jameis and most of which have a resume that isn't anywhere near as good as Jameis'.
HILARIOUS.

This is what ESPN does purposely to stir the pot. They have ZERO credibility, I rarely watch.

ESPN does like to be "sensational" and isn't above slighting various players, but their hate for, and bias against, Jameis Winston, is on a whole other level.

Read my book; it's 400+ pages, backed by 850+ citations, has a foreword from Jameis' trainer and is irrefutable.

Is all about ratings and getting your attention. I tune into ESPN, Fox, etc for games and that is about it. I know Skip Bayless left First Take a few years ago. Skip and Stephen A Smith have an insatiable appetite for the attention of others. That is also a trait of a narcissist.
That is crazy Jameis isn't listed on that collegiate list.!
Where would you rank Jameis out of the starting 32 NFL Quarterbacks?

Not a pretty game yesterday. Short week with a game on Thursday against the Panthers.
