That is interesting. I would think the over then. They had 66 last year from what I could find. They would only need an extra HBP every 9 or 10 games basically.

I'd definitely go with the over. They have 2 home and away series with each of the Yankees and Red Sox, not to mention other teams that have pitchers from the 2017 Yankees or Red Sox. Oh yes, it'll be painful.

I think it'd be hilarious if gutless Manfred would "try out" a new rule this year stating that hitters cannot wear protective body armor other than the batting helmet.

I know that pitchers will push the pitches and see how many Astros they can hit! The big question is will the umpires allow them to be hit more and not warn the pitcher and/or teams!

you might see a few non-starters start vs stros. I think it will be more than sox and yanks chucking a few at the astros.Wonder how'll they hit w/o the advantage. They still have some great talent.

The stupid thing is Manfred is putting a memo out this week about hitting Astros players this year. I do not want to see anyone get hurt, I get that. That being said I am sure a random pitcher or multiple pitchers will likely get suspended this year for hitting an Astros player. They will get more punishment than the players that actually cheated the game of baseball. This story will not disappear anytime soon.

Possibly, but if a suspension follows, won't be much of a staff left.

By the time the Yankees face the Astros there aren't going to be any healthy players left on the Yankees at this rate
