I need some international intel on COMC
Hey boys! I would be very pleased for your help regarding international shipping. I haven't Shipped anything from COMC for some years and I have a question about declared value. I haven't got any problems before but maybe something has changed.
Does COMC declare their value on shipments? For example a total expenses from on site bought cards?
Since I have payed taxes when I have bought cards on ebay and epack I have to declare value on those cards so I got that. But the missing link is on site bought cards. I'm don't feel like participating on some infinite tax scam so I have decide what to do.
Thanks!

For anything that you bought on the site, COMC will declare the value. For anything you had shipped to COMC, you declare the value. The combined value of those two is what will be put on the package.
Example:
You buy 15 items on COMC for a total of $50
You have 40 cards shipped to COMC and declare a value of $100
The declared value on the package shipped to you will be $150

This nails it. I've seen some hefty customs bills for friends in the past few months. People stock up for giant maildays (rather than smaller shipments, due to the delay in processing) and get a bit of a shock when the bill comes.

Thanks! I know the math, just needed the for on site cards.
Since I never have received the infinite tax bill I wonder if it's about the shipping method where more expensive shipping must include more detailed info.

For the instance I would have to pay 21% for the package starting from 22 EUR (25 USD) and if the price is more than 150 EUR (180 USD) there's 21% and one more tax. As I remember last time I had to pay the bill the shipping was included in the tax but only the item is taxable so yeah you just can get more ridiculous than that.
