Anthony Edwards addresses LGBTQ comments
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...i-gay-comments
We'll see if he does a Tim Hardaway and work at learning more about the LGBTQ community and being more respectful.
Regardless, one thing I've observed over the years is that LGBTQ jokes and such are very common in men's sports communities, especially when unpoliced. I still play NBA 2K a bit these days, and I've been amazed to learn that young Zoomer men are just as apt to make anti-gay jokes on Discord online gaming communities as Boomers did when they were young. All that's really changed is it's no longer acceptable in the wider public eye; when non-gay men are unpoliced, they still say or do these things all the time. Edwards was dumb enough to make it public enough where a lot more could see it outside of a small gaming community. I wouldn't be surprised if he was completely shocked by the backlash because he's never had to have his comments policed before. Well now he's learned the hard way.

Gay men don't care.
Also why would people be shocked that athletes get away with "bad language" when they get away with much worse like violence, rape, theft, etc. I don't know what this guy said because the media only covered it for a flash because it doesn't fit their narrative but Kobe said bad things and was involved in a whole rape scandal and now the PC guys of the NBA now want him as the logo.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content
