I'm not sure about the design of the Retro Black parallels, but for the rest, it looks good! I'll break my annual OPC Hobby box again, it's usually one of my favorite products around.

The retro black parallels give me a Pink Floyd/Dark Side of the Moon feel. That can't be bad!

whats with the rainbow design on the black border cards?
i thought bettman stated there was no room for decisive promotion in the NHL.
i dont care one way or another what people do with their lives but come on, dont bring it onto the ice

It's a rainbow on a parallel card in a product that has had numerous iterations of "Rainbow" parallels over the years. And it's not on the ice, it's on a piece of cardboard. Grow up.

Lol, it's a Black Rainbow card! I honestly didn't even notice at first, I just thought the cards look sharp and I was thinking more along the lines of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon rather than an LGBTQ2S thing. Maybe it is a bit of both? Who knows, and who cares? There are tens of thousands of cards with rainbow backgrounds or rainbow refractors produced every year, in all sports!

Hope you guys got your presells in. Hobby boxes are now up to $90 per box/$1,425 USD for a case. During the Black Friday sales 21/22 OPC was $400 for a case and 22/23 $500. Yikes.

When presales came online. that was the price listed. I have buying a case OPC every year for the last 3-4 years but, a $500 mark up from last year is a real game changer,

Well there goes another product I won't be breaking.
Cashing in the demand for Bedard makes sense, unless a significant number of collectors decide getting a RC of one particular player isn't the end all.
Never liked the Blackhawks anyway. lol

I might still do one box because I enjoyed the product in the past few years. I won't get much into the Bedardmania, it might be my single hobby box for the 23-24 season, with a few retail products here and there, depending on price and opportunity.
