This card isn't mine so don't PM me about it.

Never knew they made SSP cards for Topps in football especially all the way back in 2008. This Brett Favre short print reminds me of King of the Hill with Brett mowing on the big lawn mower tractor for the Packers.

How is this the name of a professional football player, and not that of a Professor of 17th Century Literature in New England? Bonus: This card, and the other 798 in the print run, was the only card of his career. There can't be too many others out there for whom their only card is a relic.

    Good find!

It does seem like a fake name. Also it is rare to find a guy that has only one card that recently. Even having just 1 rookie card is pretty rare now. There were a handful of good players with only 1 RC in the 90s that I could rattle off in football because you always had to be on the lookout for them in commons boxes at shows but I think they all faded away from memory and didn't really pan out.

I really don't know. If a sticker autograph is placed on the wrong card that's the fault of the company for having an employee make the mistake but in this case I guess they mailed the card to Mike Alstott and he's just like it isn't me but I'll still sign it for some reason? Panini gets it back in the mail and doesn't know any better so they insert it into packs. So I guess Mike Alstott is at fault for signing it for whatever reason but then you would have to question why he even had the card to sign in the first place. I like though how he added his jersey number #40 to the autograph as it goes well with the image of Jack Youngblood clearly wearing #85.

I found this funny 1983 NFL set at the thrift store last weekend for 49 cents - 25% discount. 37 cents for a 42 year old oddball set. It's worth about $30.

The NFL Huddles were toys/stuffed animals from 1983 and the cards were inserted into NFL products that year, such as football shaped bars of soap.

A super high volume thrift store the size of a Wal Mart. They don't look many things up, so sometimes the prices are great and sometimes they're insane. They think 80s and 90s baseball cards are gold, for example haha.
