At 57 cards of a set should i or shouldn't i or undecided
Greetings:
I have 57/127 cards from a set meaning I need 70 cards to complete it should I try to do or not or undecided please cast ya vote thanks. The pros of completing it its a small set. The cons is trying to find someone who might have extras of the missing ones so please vote so I know what I should do"Any ballplayer that doesn't sign Autographs for little kids Ain't an American. He is a Communist"-Rogers Hornsby on Signing an Autograph as a Manager in 1942 with the St. Louis Browns.

It all comes down to: (1)Do you really WANT the set - AND - (2)How much would it cost to get it made into a complete set ??? If it doesn't bother you, then go ahead. However, it it does bother you some then let it go. In other words if you really want it then complete it, if not, then let it go.

Depends on the set. Which set is it?

That is a big factor for most but he might just enjoy putting a $5 set together just like a $500 set.
So much to ask:
Do you have all the big stars here?
Do you have the dollars or tradebait of what someone might want for the cards in trade or dollars?
I still have more of the https://www.sportscardforum.com/thre...ght=basketball. I just shared the biggest partial set but had nore and sold another partial set the following month. Now to work on the final 3rd partial set that is smaller lol.

^^ This right here. ^^
If it's a high end set or a vintage set, then no - the cost will probably make it prohibitive.
If it's a modern-era retail-ish set (Hoops, Topps, Prizm, Select) then you just need the right trader/seller.

You are just about 45% done already. As long as it isn't cost prohibitive to you, I say go for it and good luck in your chase!
