Large List of Card Price Guides and Apps - Find the Value of Your Cards
Hello all - Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but I compiled a list of card price guide websites and apps. Below is a categorized list of current and traditional sports cardprice guides.
Digital & Real-Time Market Trackers
These tools are widely considered the modern standard as they pullactual "sold" data from eBay, Goldin, Heritage, and otherauction houses.
- Market Movers (by Sports Card Investor): A comprehensive data tool that provides price charts, sales volume, and historical trends for thousands of cards across multiple sports.
https://www.marketmoversapp.com - Card Ladder: A highly regarded platform for accurate, vetted sales data. It focuses on high-end and popular cards, providing "Value Indicators" and manual verification of sales to filter out "shill" bidding.
https://www.cardladder.com - 130Point: A free and essential tool for collectors to look up eBay "Best Offer" accepted prices, which are otherwise hidden on the eBay platform.
https://130point.com - Collx App: The Collx app allows for collectors to take a photo of their card and it will provide values for the card without you needing to type in year, set, player etc. A great way if you are someone who doesn't know much about the card in question. You can also track your overall portfolio or collection value.

Traditional & Graded Card Guides
While physical magazines have declined in popularity, theirdigital counterparts remain relevant for "book value" andgraded card comparisons.
- Beckett (Online & Print): Historically the industry standard for price guides. Beckett continues to offer an Online Price Guide (OPG) and monthly magazines for Baseball, Basketball, Football, and Hockey.
https://www.beckett.com/online-price-guide - PSA Price Guide (SMR): This guide is specific to cards graded by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA). It is an excellent resource for determining the "premium" value assigned to specific grades (e.g., PSA 9 vs. PSA 10). Even more valuable is PSAs “Aution Prices Realized” tool. Using this tool a collector can look up any card and see recently sold listings for PSA graded cards.
https://www.psacard.com/auctionprices - Vintage Card Prices (VCP): A specialized guide strictly for vintage cards. It is considered a must-have for serious collectors of pre-1980 cards, tracking historical auction results for graded examples.

Useful information; thanks!
But remember...values are only valid if you can find a buyer that agrees. In the final analysis, it's what a particular buyer is willing to pay and whether you are satisfied with that amount.

Yes! very true. the market always determines real value. I'd say these guides and tools are a good place to start and get an idea for what the card is worth.
