I buy and sell Garbage Pail kids cards on Ebay. Garbage Pail Kids cards are the same size (and I assume the same weight) as a sports cards (there are exceptions; for instance the U.K. version is a lot smaller in size).

Mailing 36 GPK cards in enclosed in a bubble mailer (5x10 dimensions) from zip code 90630 to NJ or NY costs $1.06.
Weight of item is 3.90. Mailing it via USPS 1st class mail.

How did you get $1.25 shipping --- was each card separately enclosed in a top loader?
