    Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy

    http://http://youtube.com/watch?v=aoMmbUmKN0E

I'm just wondering what anyone else thinks of this. I personally like it for the most part. I dont agree with Gundy referring to the player has a "child". Or even telling that he hopes the reporter's kid has to take ridicule. But I get tired of the media being so negative also, plus I'd get pretty upset too if someone "attacked" one of my players.

I havent read the article, if anyone could get me a link it would be appreciated.

I think he may have referred to the QB as a "kid" because he may feel a father type connection to him as well as a coach. I don't blame him for being upset like he was...it's so easy for those on the outside to bash these kids (and yes they ARE kids to an old woman like me...lol) and not give a second thought to it when it may last a lifetime to the kid(s) psyche.

    Peace~

I like it...everyone in the media have pleaded anger at him because reporters"have the right to write what they want" well, they do, but he has the right to repond. I guarantee every player on his team feels great about having this guy as a coach.

I think what he did was aweomse...and he didn;t hold back. I can't believe there are people in the media coming out to defend the writer of the article.

Well of course the media is going to bash him. He attacked the media, and rightfully so.

I personally like it. The Coach stood up for himself , the team and the QB. The media is going to bash him because they write with no emotion attached, The media doesnt care what their words may cause or the fact that the words expressed can end a live, career etc.

I would love to read the article though.

"I'm a man! I'm 40!"...I love that part, but would have been better if he had followed that up with "I drive a Dodge Stratus!...I can do 70 pushups in a minute!"

I'm guessing most of you have no idea where that came from though.
