Penn State dismisses Austin Scott
What was once one of the most promising recruits Penn State had ever landed has finally ended as one of the most disappointing...
Austin Scott was dismissed from the football team abruptly with not a single comment from the university...but everybody has already been whispering that he is the prime suspect in a rape that happened early friday morning on campus...however, no news outlet, the police, or the university will confirm this at this time...his locker was cleaned out, and Rodney Kinlaw took his place in the starting lineup for todays game against Iowa...
This guy holds state high school records & just about every college in the nation wanted this guy, but he quickly fell into JoePa's doghouse & never got out of it in the 5 years he was here...He never could beat out Tony Hunt, who just flat out worked harder than Scott, and couldn't hold onto the ball this season as the feature back...

OK...not that anybody is going to read this anyway, but thought I'd update the latest on Austin Scott for anybody who wants to know...
This guy is a complete idiot and has been quoted in the papers now on 2 different occasions with the most ridiculous comments I've ever heard coming from an accused rapist. Austin Scott may very well be innocent, but you've got to just resist the temptation to defend yourself until your day in court arrives! His lawyer (Joseph Amendola) is actually the best lawyer in State College, so I'm a little confused why Austin Scott has ANY QUOTES in the paper. I would think that he was told to SHUT UP and not say a word about the case! The thing about quotes is they are OFTEN taken out of context, and can make you look real bad even when those aren't your intentions!
Idiotic Quote #1: "Girls will say that they do not want to have sex, but then they get to your room, things heat up, and they change their mind."
Idiotic Quote #2: As the two walked back to his place from a bar, she told him "Just so you know, I am not going to have sex with you" and Scott replied "So do you want me to call you a taxi now?"
Idiotic Quote #3: "I went to bed with a clear conscience, then woke up & my life was in shambles."
Some other facts...He could not tell officers her name, because he didn't remember it and he sent her a text message saying "R U OK?" while she was sitting in the emergency room...
In my opinion, the first quote says that even if a girl says no, he'll convince them to say yes. the second one insinuates that he had nothing but bagging her on his mind. and the third one is just silly...charged with rape, but saying that you went to bed with a clear conscience just sounds wrong, even if its true...either way, none of these quotes should have made it to newsstands. It forms public opinion against you before a jury has even been selected...NOT GOOD!

Which newspaper were they in?
One thing Joe is right on about, if you ask me, is keeping his players from talking too much to the press. Austin should have heeded that advice more here.

I actually played against Austin in a few Pick up games in High School ( Our School never Played Parkland afte I moved) And I can tell you a few things. One, he as a new lawyer and he is the BEST lawyer Allentown ( his hometown) has to offer. Two. This women has pulled this stunt before with another college student before and the student was aquitted in court. Three. While it's no news that Austin is not a model citizen, He is not a rapist. I think this is a case of two people having too much to drink and the girl being embarrassed that she was another notch in the belt od Scott. Just my opinion on the matter. It is being covered heavily in this area since he is a hometown kid. I have talked to people who went to Parkland with Scott and all say the same thing. He may have done some things wrong in the past, but he in not a rapist.

This is a topic that a man as wise as Joe Pa, is smart enough to avoid! I should have learned from him, but I did not. The Duke case really did shed some light on what false accusations can do to an individual. That being said, I would be very upset if it was my daughter who was actually raped and someone would dare question it as happening and tossing blame on her! They should find a way to block out the name of the accused and the abused until case is settled. It is not fair to either one of them!

Look alot of people knew Ted Bundy and all said the same thing...
He isn't a killer!!!! Yea well so much for knowing the real person. If the kid had that much problems in school there was a reason... Also some of these athletes believe they are entitled!!!! Till the court decides we see how this plays out.
