    Wink lesson for newlywed collectors

ok guys here is a little lesson i learned awhile ago,i,ll share it with you trust me it will help in the future.

1 when the new mrs lets you spend more than usual on cards she wants something in return.

2 scope out your house see what needs to be done around it and start working on the easiest chore, that way you,ll look busy and the mrs didn,t even ask.

3 if she does let you spend more on cards than normal sell a couple and surprise her with flowers or a new cd or something else she likes kind of a give and take but getting her to let you buy cards more often is all about give and take.

4 for you female collectors the same rules apply just reverse positions.

5 also if your spouse seems to be letting you spend more freely he or she came into extra money somehow, always try to find out the source of the extra income.

o.k. that,s just enough of a lesson for now use these tips wisely and happy collecting take care spuds

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, so your saying i have to give somthing extra in return to get cards and i have to do extra work? Wow you really put the whole "married" thing in perspective. I'm never getting married...

Let me add my latest new "trick"....

Occasionally buy an auto from a set that looks all glizty and shiny, even if that player is a common.

I showed my wife the UD Finite Rookie Auto Larry Johnson I bought for $30 dlvd, and she merely shrugged....

I showed my wife the Bowman Sterling Gold Refractor auto LaMarr Woodley, and she thought it was awesome. For $4 she thought I got a steal.

Another one learned from a friend- find a nice headshot card of someone who is, shall we say, appealing to the opposite sex. Buy the cheap card. Let your wife start her own little collection. For some reason, his wife digs Trent Green and my wife David Carr. Not exactly guys you have to bust the bank for.

    Thanks!
    Tyler
