SMACK TALK: Rookie wins SCF FF league!
I just need to talk a little smack and let everyone know that this rookie finished as the #1 seed in the SCF Fantasy Football League. I finished 11-3 and scored the most points. All this with only 5 moves all season!
Now that I'm talking this smack I'm sure I will lose in the first round in the playoffs.
Now for my complaints!
- No first round bye for finishing first
- Fantasy Bowl in week 17?????

Mike,
Do you play in any pay leagues? Just wondering that when the smack gets truly deep. Love playing in one or two a year but been doing one for about the last 5 years that pays close to 1500 when it all said and done. Nothing like when you win the playoffs. I am sure some people even play for higher stakes.
Nothing like looking forward to getting with the same group or guys and gals to do a live draft where ever house, bar, etc.

Nice job to the Rookie but you still have to beat the defending champ who managed to go 8-4-2 with basically no RB's all year.
I agree with your complaints. I also agree with the Super Bowl in week 17. Not fair to a lot of teams.

I'm in a $600 prize league and I finished 13-1 with 14 teams. Got a bye last week!

Mike,
First off, congrats to you. Its always nice to take the season crown. But league championship is top prize.
Secondly, thanks for sharing this NOW. I could have changed it earlier in the year.
Third, up to 40 MPH gusts in New England games tomorrow. If I can beat Brady and Peterson I stand a good chance. Oh the fun of 14 team league. You get one or two studs and thats it... Good luck

Its not over yet Mike.. If NYG has a similar run on Defense like New England did, that washes out a huge chunk. Peterson could easily go for 150 and 2 tds tomorrow against the Bears.
