This reminds of me of a letter I sent to my parents when I was at camp as a kid. They didn't get it and were annoyed I didn't write, when I kept saying that I had (remember this is before cell phones... lol) Then when I was in high school about 4 years later, it arrives - with the old postmark and my old handwriting... that was bizarre, i guess it's good we didn't move. anyway - just made me think about that, makes you wonder sometimes when people swear up and down they sent there end of the trade....

And what a joke delivery confirmation is !
I had a package the po says was delivered on 12-04 but I never got it. I go into the post office and ask them to check for it and was told "you had to have received it because we scan the packages as we're putting them into the po boxes". So I whip out a package that was in my box THAT VERY DAY, clearly marked with someone's else's name and po box number, and ask them what happens when the package is put in the wrong box. The only answer I got was that since "I" was having troubles receiving mail, in the future any package with dc on it they would put a slip in my box and I would have to go to the counter and pick it up.

Wow, thats werid! I wonder if I have any mail floatin around anywhere...lol. It'd be kind of neat to receive something in the mail that a relative or friend sent many many years ago..I like looking at old stuff like that.
