    because the smell gets into the cards and sometimes can effect them. also, if it's bad enough, i've seen layers of smoke on the cards themselves... i sell some things on ebay, and the cards are much less desired if they come from a smoker.

    yeah i guess thats true one time i got a package from a guy and when i opened it the package imidiatly started to smell like smoke and the tape he used definetly smelled like smoke luckily the cards didnt
