Jason Kidd wants to be traded
Jason Kidd has come to grips with two realities. One, the New Jersey Nets aren't very good. Two, that their only chance of improving is to deal him. "I'm not mad at anybody," he said Monday afternoon by phone. "Sometimes, when you ride a wave, you get to the end and that's all there is. That's where we are."
Kidd confirmed that his agent, Jeff Schwartz, has talked to Nets' management about moving him by the Feb. 21 trade deadline, but he categorized the conversation as a continuation of something that started last All-Star break, when the Nets nearly dealt him to the Lakers for a package of players that included Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown. The sticking point was that Nets president Rod Thorn wanted Andrew Bynum and the Lakers refused.
While initial reports had Kidd, 34, insisting on being sent to a contender, he said Monday that he realizes there are no guarantees in any scenario. At this point, he simply wants to play for a team that can compete every night and utilize his talents.

Are his days in NJ numbered? Which team will he be traded to? Dallas, LA Lakers, Orlando. Would be crazy if he somehow ended up in Boston.

I know the Lakers would love to have him now, but I dont think that Farmar, a future first round pick, $3 mil dollars and the expiring contracts of Kwame, Sasha, and Mihm will get it done. I see Nuggets or Mavericks getting him.

Boston??? They dealt everyone away for garnett and allen. But that would be fun to watch if they could swing it! L.A. or Cleveland really need his talents to take them up a notch. But what would they lose in getting him?? So would either team truely be better for it?

Send him to the Knicks, we have 462,984,583,062 small forwards, plus Stephon Marbury to trade away. We still won't win, but he won't have to pickup and move very far away!!
All kidding aside, he could go almost anywhere. Would think his best shot would be back with Dallas, or with the Cavs. Really would like to see him go to the Warriors, but realistically not an option I don't think.

if im the lakers i don't know if I want to trade Farmer. He is turning into a really really solid player. If he goes with a first round pick also that might really hurt.

That's actually what I was thinking too lol
With Fisher and Farmar I think we're very solid at PG.
Need to pick up another good post player instead with Kwame's expiring contract. Mitch needs to do something with that attractive asset.
