I trade by what I like and think is fair, Young is a player i have been collecting, therefore it is worth more to me, then some GUIDE tells me, and it is a guide, not the bible, they even put a disclaimer to that fact in there own books, yet people seems to forget that....

right it is a guide, a guide that 95% of the card trader world goes by when deciding a trade, however, if you dont agree on a trade a simple no works just fine, instead of trying to make it look like the offer was totally rediculous, even though THE GUIDE that 95% of us follow says the offer really is very reasonable.
example:
selvin young classic rookie bv 15, selvin young bv 20
15+20=35
syvelle newton letterman black bv 40
40-35= 5 dollar bv in your favor

however young is a better prospect, so i would say the trade is even, therefore i would agree on the trade. not rediculous and no need for the extra comments
