    Ebay Boycott Begins Tomorrow

Any sellers out there who are participating? I neither buy nor sell, so I'm merely a spectator here. However, I can't help but wonder what this will do to the card market.

    Can't resist:

Maybe now would be a good time for travl to recreate ebay.

I didn't know there was an ebay boycott. What's it about?

Sellers are furious with the new fees, so there's a pretty large and significant boycott taking place tomorrow. I don't think much will come of it. There are actually many people who make their livings from selling things on ebay; they're not just going to stop work.

I thought the fees were lowered? I got an email a while ago saying starting the 20th fees are going down. I remember seeing that the 20 cent fee is going to 10 cents.

It won't last and will likely not make a dent in Ebay's policy or earnings. They got their message out and I think that is what was important. The feedback policy seems to be the bigger issue.

I don't think it will work. To many people use ebay, and a lot of them probably don't know about this.

I agree with Mike about the feedback. It doesn't seem right for a seller to NOT be allowed to leave negative feedback for a bad buyer. About a month ago, I sold a book on there and it was never paid for. I did a dispute and the buyer said they actually bought the book from another seller. I left negative feedback.. If you can't leave negative feeback for something like that.. a lot of people will end up not getting their money.. which will just cause more problems with ebay, I would think.

I agree entirely. The feedback thing is a nasty issue.
