Lets Chat about this!!!!
Ok guys got bored so I thought I would start this thread and see what everyone thinks. I am going to put down who I think was the best rookie on offense and defense in 06-07 and the draft sleeper. Would like to see what others on here think. Bring it on, lets get the ball rolling here. Daniel.
06
Offensive: Vince Young - Brought my Titans back to playoff team.
Honorable Mention: M. Colston - the guy was a beast before the injury late in the season
Sleeper: M. Colston
Defense: Mario Williams - his 07 peformance was spectacular
Honorable Mention: A.J. Hawk - I see this guy being a big name for a while.
07
Offensive: A. Peterson - for obivious reasons
Honorable Mention: M. Lynch - the guy is constant in a struggling offense.
Defense: P. Willis - For a big guy he is fast seen him chase down would be touchdowns from behind quite a few times.
Honorable Mention: M Griffin - I think he is a impact player, smart playmaker that will be good for
years to come.
Sleeper: no idea who this year.

I wouldn't say terrible, I would say he has been average he has played better than other starting QB's in the league.

and that makes him the offensive player of that draft HOW?
and your saying he brought them to the playoffs. I mean I love him (he's the pic on my desktop LOL
) but he did NOTHING to get them to the playoffs

he had a ok year this year not great, but if Collins had started the whole year we wouldn't have even went to the playoffs.
Last year as a Rookie, I thought he was pretty good, he finished with a pretty good record for a Rookie and we almost made the playoffs if we had just got past those Pats.

I was talking about last year, I know this year wasn't great however Collins couldn't have done better. And we did make the playoffs, I know our defense is a big part of that but in my belief they tried to keep Vince in the pocket to much this year and that's not who he is.

Addai is the best offensive player from 06, he won the Colts the Super Bowl last year, and is a top 5 NFL RB...on defense I think Demeco Ryans has to be mentioned as well.

A little titan biased....?
06
Offensive: I agree Vince Young
Defensive: Demeco Ryans, hes an animal
Sleeper: Devin Hester, come on, where would the bears have been in 06 if it wasnt for him? This past season too for that matter...
Flop (Thought Id add a category): Reggie Bush (Still amazing, just not up to expectations) or vernon davis
07
Offensive: No Doubt AP
Defensive: P. Willis
Sleeper: Kolby Smith Troy Smith or Selvin Young (undrafted)
Flop: John Beck, thats why the dolphins will take matt ryan or Ted Ginn Jr. Good draft dolphins :)

I agree in sorts with you Addai is really good. There is just something about V. Young I think he will be better once we get a offensive coordinator that knows how to properly utilize him. I think his Rookie Year was pretty good, I do admit he had a rough one this year. Ryans was good as well and I fully agree he does deserve mention. Daniel.
