im not sure if i buy the story, honestly....the biggest FA on the market, and this comes out AFTER he is signed? just seems kinda strange, without a credible source

edit: doing my research and finding some stories so ill retract my initial statement and stand corrected

haha ok, basically what i was saying if you didnt think the eagles and moss were close you weren't following the rumors...because they were hot this weekend, but i didnt know it was this close

that was kinda my point initially.....there were lots of "moss rumors" this weekend, and although the eagles were a team mentioned, they weren't as highly mentioned as others.....here is a report today outta philly that "the birds weren't even mentioned in speculations"

im seeing both sides reported....some saying there wasn't much going on, some saying moss actually turned down a 3 year 27 mil deal with the eagles.

Profootballtalk.com reports that Randy Moss chose New England over the Eagles "at the wire." The Eagles reportedly offered more money.
Impact: It was reportedly a day of "high drama" with both teams believing they had Moss in the fold at various times. Ultimately, Moss was afraid to leave a place he was so happy with. Philly's aggressive play indicates they could get in the mix later this offseason for Chad Johnson or Roy Williams.
