There are some good autos, but they're extremely hard to get. Most of the autos you get are of the likes of OJ McDuffie, Mike Quick, Joe Jacoby, etc and not worth that much. The autos of Montana, Marino, Elway, etc are very short printed and extremely hard to get...don't think I've ever even seen one. Plus there are only 2 RCs per box and no other inserts. So it's hard to get good value out of a box. I did enjoy breaking it though, because most of the players were guys I grew up watching...but if you're looking for value only, I'd go with something else.

Well to continue that a little further. What would you say is the best box for value per break?

Well it depends on how much you're looking to spend and if you want this year or any year. You can usually find decent deals on older boxes. For boxes in the same range as 06 Legends from this year, I would say Topps Chrome, Bowman Chrome, and maybe Artifacts. A lot of people don't like Artifacts, but you get 3 GU, 1 Auto, and 6 #'d RCs or Parallels. And the SP'd RCs are pretty good value. Most people that don't like them bring up the argument that the autos and GU have a lot of lower name players, which they do. But I've also seen a lot of nice breaks as well. And the Chromes are always good value, an auto in each box, plus several parallels.
