    Jermaine O'Neal returns

    After sitting out for more than two months Jermaine O'Neal returned to NBA action Monday night. He contributed to the teams win over Miami. Unfortunately for the Pacers they are out of the playoff picture.

    Actually, they can still make the 8th seed. That's how bad the EC is this season.

    They have an outside chance to make it, imho. Three games behind the 8th seed with 8 games to go. They also have to contend with New Jersey who has the same record as them. Atlanta is 8-2 in their past 10 games and winners of four in a row. Indiana would have to win out to even have a chance.
