Major Day of Mojo!! Flat-out, the best breaks of my life. A Must Look

Wow is all I have to say. Before you see the amazingness, I will share you how it all happened.. It was my birthday Sunday and I decided to go to my local card show. I received a nice sum of money for my birthday from different friends, family and such.

I decided I would spend a max of $450 for assorted boxes that I wanted. I knew I wanted a Bowman Sterling Box, and I knew I wanted a Bowman Draft. I figured I might get the two for around $350 if I was lucky. I figured with the last hundred dollars or so left, I would try and pick up a DEEE box, Bowman Chrome box, Moments & Milestones box or SP Authentic box and come home happy with 3 boxes. It turns out there wasn’t most of those boxes I wanted at the show, for sale anyway.

One way or another I still got the best deal any collector could ask for. I see a Sterling Box, DPP box, and M&M sitting there all by the same dealer. Sterling is marked at $250. I say, it’s my birthday what’s the best deal you can give me. He says $235 cause he is feeling nice. He sees me and really had no clue how much money I was about to actually spend. I go, okay how about the BDPP. Listed at $70, he says $50. I think to myself wow that’s so cheap! Lastly I go how about the Moments and Milestones. Marked at $85, he says, Sorry these are brand new the best I can do was $80… That adds up to $365… I tell him I will buy all three of them for $360 and it works!!!

So this is how it went down…. 3 boxes for $360, including 2007 Bowman Sterling, 2007 BDPP, and 2008 Topps M&M. It’s hard to even get a sterling and BDPP box for that much let alone 3 boxes… I went home a happy camper, but who would have thought I would have had breaks like this. All cards FOR SALE OR TRADE except for the mets…


So first off is the Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects box. Can you say, mojo?!?!

How amazing is that? I have never pulled such a card in my life. I could be overreacting, but hey that is one beautiful card.




Up next is the Topps Moments and Milestones…I don’t know if it’s more MOJO or not, but hey there is another nice pull in there. I also got another 5 loose packs from my brother on my birthday. Those cards will be included in this list below.

Wow - awesome breaks, and even better "deals" for those boxes - congrats!

I am trying to finish my Bowman Sterling Master Set. The Phil Hughes Base RC (non-Auto) is literally 1 of the last 2 cards I need. I could use it - what are you looking for? What do you collect? I have about 11 base Sterling Prospects and RCs - maybe some of those? I have a bunch of Inserts, RCs, etc. Just let me know. Thanks.

Andrew... I'm sorry but I am going to hold onto all the Reyes, Wright and Beltran I pulled. (But trust me, its not much and nothing more then base /150.) But for the Vladdy it is Card #141 Vlad Guerrero 2007 AS 125 RBI - RBI #4 (053/150). At the moment i believe that is the only one of him that i have but i will triple check tomorrow..

parsetdx... I collect mets of all kinds... Any nice met you can exchange for it and the Hughes is yours... Or if you have any nice base prospects and rcs maybe we can do that as welll.. Just make a more then generous offer, and the card is yours.

Congrats as that some serious MOJO. Well it time for you to stop buying boxes as I think you just entered the HALL OF FAME for MOJO and it all down hill from here. That is insane luck but hey perhaps the guy thought you worked for UD (all their 1 of 1 breaks).

p.s. Man usually when you hit a dry spell you hit some mojo. SO I only see a dry spell coming up. Congrats and love the part of ya running thru the house on the first 1 of 1. What did ya do on the other 2 pulls when they were 1 of 1 as well?
