    Leaving for Boot Camp Thursday

    Going to be an E-1 Navy Seaman Recruit i will be going in undesignated at first that way i can explore my options on what i want to do. It should be very interesting and fun, travel the world, meet new people and get payed lots of money while protecting this country. I will gone at boot camp for 12 months which will be hell!! and then to an "A" school for my job training.

    I hope i will be able to come back and trade often in my spare time

    Congrats! I finished Air Force basic in 1993 and officer training school in 2000. It is a great feeling isn't it?

    Wow I Graduated basic training for the Air Force in February 1984. I can honestly say looking back now basic wasn't that bad. But had you asked everyone while they were attending it "hell" would have been the kindest word used for it.

    Learn to eat very quickly, wait scratch that learn to do everything very quickly! You'll understand why VERY, very soon! Good luck.......

    At the academy we had PT 4 times per week with a Navy Seal. Owwwwwwwwwwww. Good luck brother!

    One recommendation I will give you before you leave and join me in the Navy, is DO NOT go in undesignated. I've been in 8 yrs so far and everyone I've met that went in undes hated it. There are so many jobs out there, trust me pick one. If you want to know what most likely will happen to you as an undes seaman, pm me or 11chaos, he's active duty too....
