    Best Guitar Hero

    All good, but what's the best in your opinion?

    Love the soundtrack to the first, but hate the gameplay. Gameplay on 3rd one is SO much better.

    Is Rock Band not considered Guitar Hero? just wondering because that game is fun and its the only one I have played.

    I thought 2 had the best soundtrack but 3 as gameplay wise is much better.

    Rock Band is a completely different style of game by another company. Guitar Hero is just the guitar only. It's quite a bit different.

    My favorite is Guitar Hero 3, because you can play online. My favorite soundtrack is a toss up between GH2 and GH3.

    I really like the soundtrack for II (which is what I voted for). I think the only thing that is better in III is the fact that hammer-ons and pull-offs are alot easier than any of the others.

    I won't vote but the reason I would give 3 the edge is, not because I don't like the S.T. to the first one, love a lot of those songs, but the fact that on 3 there are so few covers and most are actual master recordings. Every song on 1 with the exception of the bonus songs are covers.
