well, this is the weekend....so, wait a day or two and if you have heard anything, contact them again....that's what I'd do anyway

Are you sure you actually messed something up? Or did you just get an email saying you needed to fax stuff to verify your account?
I've been on PayPal for around 8 years and I've never had to fax, mail, or even email anything to them...everything you need to do you take care of by going directly to the site. A lot of scammers send out emails saying they're "PayPal" and you need to do this or that to verify your account and ask you to send them account numbers and what not...then your money disappears. You might want to check on that a bit more, sounds very shady to me.

I was thinking the same thing, this sounds suspicious to me. Be careful of e-mail. Go to Paypal's site, and see if you can find a customer service number, call them directly.
If you were verifying your bank account, I believe the standard practice is that they put in a small amount (such as 5 cents) and ask you to enter the amount on the website. It proves you have access to the bank account.

i think you fell for one of those email scams, to be honest- paypal never asks for information to be mailed, faxed, or emailed to them- everything is done through their site only. id consider cancelling any accounts that had info on whatever you faxed them, you got played

They do ask to fax or mail verification if there is a name change on the account. My wife has a Paypal account, and she has to change the last name on her account, and the people said that she would have to fax or mail the information in order to make the name change.
