As terrible as Boston is on the road in the playoffs, they still can win a championship by winning only their home games. I'm assuming this has never been done in NBA history.

True. Boston had a 31-10 road record in the regular season, so they can win on the road, they just haven't in the playoffs yet.

I almost turned off the game in the 3rd quarter. Lakers were cruising for the first three quarters. I'm glad I continued to watch. The last 3 minutes were amazing!
Lakers advance to face Hornets/Spurs.

They'll never get through Detroit if they do get by us...that team is pathetic on the road
You really think Detroit will win in Boston?? The C's don't have to win on the Road for the rest of the playoffs. I think it would be kinda cool if they did stretch it to 7 games the rest of the way (if they get past the Cav's and Detroit of course) Nothing like winning the series at home!

Uhh....yes. Cleveland should have won Game 1 in Boston...you make it sound like it's impossible to win there. It isn't. Detroit is 10x better than Atlanta or Cleveland is...they'll definitely win at least one in Boston....
That is, if they get to play those guys from Beantown. I guarantee you Detroit is pulling for Boston to win...they don't wanna see the Cavs again.

NBA playofffs take their first day off today. Game 7 between Cleveland and Boston tomorrow at 3:30 eastern.

the celtics have a pretty awesome intro, i liked it... i'm glad they're showing these on tv again. i'd be pumped if i was there!
