Democratic Party
After watching 10 hours of their meeting I think it's save to say that the Dem party is finished. This pretty much split it down the middle as I see Hillary taking it to the convention after they handed everything to Obama he wanted. I can say i've seen it all, first the Supreme court overruled the votes of the people now the Dems themself proved the vote of the people doesn't count

It's pretty obvious they just handed the election to John Mccain on a platter today. In a year when they COULDN'T lose the dems found a way to screw that up
At least the convention looks like it will be fun to watch
I don't even think putting Hillary on the ticket right now will help this party and I'm wondering what they will do in 4 years if their "dream" candidate Obama gets blown out in a year they should have walked away with it..

I love this quote...
"Poor People have been voting for Democrats for the last 50 years,........and they are still poor." ~ Charles Barkley

That is a classic one. Ever notice how most pro athletes go from Democrats to Republicans once they start getting paid? Once they start getting killed in taxes they switch over.

It's like Hispanics voting for democrats when Mccain/Kennedy was their best chance of getting equality. I would think Mccain should run away with the Hispanic vote but for some reason people don't vote for the person who would help them the most (they stay with party affiliation over who the best canidate for THEM is)..

Is Al Gore going to be passing out cartons of Newports to the homeless to get them registered to vote Democrat? Didn't work last time, but what's the harm in beating a dead horse?
