Draft Grades and a Question for You

    Draft Grades

    Who had the best draft?

I'm going with the Blazers. They landed a lottery pick in Bayless and Batum also has lottery pick talent. Also picked up four picks for next year. Their grade was an A-, but easily could be an A+. Runner up are the Nets and Heat. Mavs had the worst draft (of those who picked a player).

The Blazers, no doubt, had a superb draft....they should be a force next year:

    C Oden
    PF Aldridge
    SF Webster
    SG Roy
    PG Bayless

    Very potent lineup, IMO.

I think the Pacers did well....they get a good replacement for Jermaine in Hibbert, and get a fairly decent looking player in Brandon Rush. But my vote goes to Miami....they took Beasley and haven't traded him, plus they get a decent PG in Mario Chalmers.....yes, they gave up 2 2nd round draft picks and cash for him, but it could be worth it.

    So, my top 5:

    Miami
    Portland
    Indiana
    New Jersey
    Minnesota

    Honorable mention: Chicago

Ouch, they were hard on your Spurs. Ha. Maybe Chad should have a little more respect for the team who found some good players in the later half in previous years? ;)

Wow. I'm surprised Seattle got an A-. I must not get it. I live in LA, went to UCLA, and I still don't get why everyone thinks Russell Westbrook is so good. I think he's good, but not THAT good.

Agreed. And DJ White strikes me as a bust waiting to happen.

I'm gonna say that the Hawks had the worst draft....

LOL....even though they didn't get a draft pick.

I'd take Joe Johnson in his prime over an unproven rookie any day.
