Anybody else stranded at home on the 4th?

I'm on call for the next week so I can't leave the house pretty much. Weak. My wife and her brother are at the Rockies game. They're playing the Marlins. Gonna be a great fireworks show down there!

It's a hundred and fourteen outside and which makes it no fun to be outside. So I am stranded in the house because that's where the AC is. Smart right?

I'm back inside after watching the neighbors fireworks....they spent a small fortune on their fireworks....probably 25 canister fireworks! Fun show though!

I have a hilarious story regarding the game:

When it was 13-4, my wife and her bro left early because they figured the Rockies were going to get spanked. We all watched on TV (and I laughed heartily) as the announcers dubbed it the greatest comeback in Rockies history and that everyone who was there will remember it forever.

    Muahaha.

I do, in fact, enjoy the couch. The wife has this Darth Vader breathing thing going while she is sleeping so I don't mind the couch at all.

Yeah mine is pretty comfortable as well. From time to time I get the pleasure of seeing the sandman there as well.
