Meant to post this last night, but a comedy of errors prevented it...

Yesterday was our best day thus far. Part of the day was podcasted by the great guys at www.sportsology.net. They were amazing and even had me hop on with them for a few minutes to talk about the site. Once they send me the links to the podcast files, I'll post them here.

We had Dr. Price from In The Game as well as Scott Prusha from Donruss here for interviews. The interviews were wonderful and big thanks to Dr. Price and Scott for taking the time out to visit with us.

They also busted some boxes while here and basically gave all the cards away. They busted a box of 2008 Sportkings "B" and 2008 Topps Allen & Ginter. The sweet hit out of Sportkings was a Silver Version Quad Sawchuk (jersey)/Roy (2-color jersey)/Brodeur (jersey)/Vezina (skate) (1/4). Don has pictures of the card. The pictures will not do this card justice.

Big shout out to Russ and Doug from Sportsology for coming by and hope to do more with them in the future.

Did manage to get a chance to do a box break with ITG and received a Grant Fuhr 2-color jersey (1/1 Nationals) for my efforts. This card will be given to the hockey team to use in a future contest. Actually, most everything I've been able to pick up will be given to the site for future contest.

As for membership, yesterday as our biggest day yet. Hopfully the weekend will bring a lot more as the list of auto signers is amazing. The one auto I wanted from this show wa secured by my wife yesterday. We got a sweet 8x10 color glossy signed by Ryne Sandberg. This will be a surprise gift for my dad, a die-hard Cubbies fan.

On the personal front, did managed to do two trades while here. Traded a 2006 SP Authentic By The Letter Dan Haren "A" Auto for a 2008 Topps Moments & Milestones Ryan Bruan Auto. Also, traded away a Felix Jones parallel for a 2008 Donruss Elite Ray Rice RC and 2 YSL cards (sending to Taliasen).

No pictures to post as my wife has the camera. I'll do my best to get those posted this evening. Everyone take care and hopefully I'll get some more goodies for you all...

I found out late last week that I would be working on a project in Indiana, so I stayed here this weekend to go to the Nationals instead of going home.

I had the opportunity to meet and spend a lot of time with Rick and Tony. They are both very pleasant to talk with in person as they are on the site.

In case you haven't noticed, the membership numbers have jumped up the last few days, largely due to their efforts. This should in turn increase the trade opportunities we all have at SportsCard Forum.

I want to thank Rick and Tony for what they are doing for the site.
    Always Looking for:

    A) Graded Vintage (Pre-1980) (BGS, BVG, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    B) Graded True RC's (No inserts or parallels) (BGS, PSA, SGC) in all sports
    C) Certified Auto and GU cards of players from the 70's and further back in all sports

All the cards picked up in my wife's VIP bag are going to the site for giveaways as with most of my cards. I am only keeping a few for myself. I don't know yet what I am going to keep...

Good luck on the final day tomorrow Tony. Remember, I need you to give the Benchwarmers girls my phone number. I'm sure they would love a sports card type person since they have their own cards...right? :)
