You mean someone to back up Beck?
Im starting to realize maybe the Phins don't like Beck too much. If Pennington is signed there is a 50/50 chance they are going to cut Beck. I would think they'd let McCown go over Beck but who the hell knows...

Im in the same boat! I finally invest in a dolphins QB only to find out we may sign the QB i hate the most. McCown is currently number 1 on the Depth chart. Doesnt mean anything but if they do cut someone to make room for pennington it will be beck. SOmetimes I HATE being a Dolphin Fan

McCown isn't the starter...one hasn't been named yet although he's listed as #1 on the depth chart. Sparano says he put it together by senority. Beck has had a better camp than McCown esp these last couple of days. I can't see Miami cutting Beck after only 4 starts with terrible players around him.
