Would you happen to have a scan of the auto? The creases are not really that uncommon. Just depends how bad it is. Also, many times the backs are indented. Kinda follows the same outline as the cutout area in the front, where the auto piece fits.

The Mulder is from 2004. It is a baseball auto unfortunately. Looks like ball point pen. Blue. Man, he has an awful sig. The ball has a weird crease down the middle. NOt the card itslef, but the piece of ball. Also, the back is indented. Is this normal? Not sure. Anyway if interested, LMK. Send me a PM as that is easiest way to contact me.
