You Ever Get Shafted by a "Collector" Who Sells Your Stuff?

Just sold some cards to a user on here, only to watch him turn around and sell everything I just sold him on eBay...I search for this player daily...Im going to notice the listings. Oh well I guess, not like I was keeping them anyway, but I wouldnt have cut him a deal if I would have known he wasnt going to keep them like he claimed

at the same time, if he recently sold it to him and he needed money, why would you be spending money on cards? not trying to be a smart @$$ or anything, but seems odd to do so

How is that getting "shafted"?? You sold it, he/she can do whatever they want with it, they can burn it if they really want to, just my opinion.

If it makes no difference on the price/trade value, that's no big deal. But if they actually say they're a collector and want them for their collection and you give them a good deal on them in return, it's pretty lousy to turn around and sell them. I know I've given a few breaks on sales and trades because I knew they really liked that team or player. If I found out they were just trying to make money off it, I would be a little upset too.

It's not a rule or anything, but it's definitely low class and unethical.

Ok, so do you see those red letters in WolfeFans sig....maybe something like that came up, it coulda been a emergency, he sold it to him, he can do what he wants with it.... if wolfe fan wanted he could have sold it on EBAY for w/e that guy did, it was his property so why cant he sell it.

I think the problem here is that Wolfefan wanted the cards to go to a worthy collector and the person that bought them had no intention of keeping them. I would feel "shafted" as well if the cards were sold under a false pretense just to turn the cards over on eBay and make a profit, even if it is a small profit because of the fees they will incur.

The way I see it, it's lying to get a better deal. Yes, it's their property and they can do as they wish, but it became their property dishonestly. Like I said, not a rule, but low class and unethical.
