The Official John McCain Thread, as requested by liberals

I've seen many statements like, "if you don't like the amount of coverage Obama gets, then just make a McCain thread."

So here it is. Let's talk about his policies, his incredible war record, and what he can do for this country. We won't discuss Barack Hussein Obama at all.

Here is the number one point I disagree with McCain on. He has an open border policy and wants to give amnesty to illegal immigrants.

I don't dislike McCain, and I think saying he's just the next Bush isn't fair to him (although their voices sound so much alike I cannot tell them apart without a visual). I don't think he's a strong candidate, though, and I'd be very surprised if he wins the election. I would have preferred Mitt Romney to both McCain and Obama, but obviously we can't cast Romney votes now.

I would say it is 90% that Romney becomes McCain's VP. I also preferred Romney over McCain.

If Mitt Romney is selected as McCain's running mate, a new life will breath into his campaign. I would be excited to vote for McCain.

    Actually, I admire McCain's open-border policy. I agree, Romney is a must-have.

I'm not familiar with his policy, but I would love to welcome any and all immigrants to the USA as long as they go through the correct procedures. If the system should be tweaked, fine, but I am open to as many immigrants as we can fit here! Just come here legally so we know about you!
