OLD Redemption.. Should i send it in??

I just got back from the card shop, bought a box of 2000 Stad. Club ( $25 CDN )

    nothing special ( L.Coles only decent RC) , but i beat the odds ( 1 in 2330 ) and pulled a redemption for a 11 x 14 autographed print of Kurt Warner ( redemption expired 4/1/2001 )...

would it be a waste to send it in??

does it have any value considering there can't be to many left ( most redeemed)... why can't i beat those kinds of odds on newer products???

By the way, i'm another Beckett refugee...

There is no value for the redemption so I would send it in, you never know. I will say that I have sent expired redemptions to topps and never got anything in return but UD has all ways sent something back so I would try it.

It is worth a try. I sent one in in January from a redeption from 1993.
Still havn't heard anything but what do you have to lose and you have everything to gain.

As far as no value i disagree, i pulleda 94 score a-rod redemption and sent it in after the date well years after the date, i did get the redemption back and sold it on ebay for like 8.00 surprized me.

as for sending it in, i have read (beckett) it is a timing thing depends on who opens it if you get something in return, it nervers hurt to send it in but really don't think you will get it back, if you think about it an unredemed card like that is rare and give it another 10 years or so could be worth it

If a A-Rod redemption was only worth 8.00 what do you think the Kurt W. is worth...1.00? There is a BIG difference between the two players and the amount of people that collect them. The best thing that can be done is send it in and hope for something other than the redemption back. Topps will send the card back with expired written on it if they dont redeem it.

I see your point in the values, did not know topps will send back with the word expired written on it. always worth a shot and getting something.

I agree. Who cares on the difference between Arod and Kurt and how many people collect who.. Send it in. If you get it back stamped I will paypal you 10 buck for the stamped card to beat ARODs value then that argument is over
