Seem to be far too many Grand Ol Party folks up in here...thought I would give a shout out to our next president, Barak Obama...

I missed it because I'm in Hawaii. Did he give any specifics in his speech? Or is it the same, "I will make all the poor rich, give health care to everyone, heal the sick and make gum drops grow from the trees if elected President," type speech again? Or was there some actual substance?
Anything specific he plans to do in the first 4 years? I will try to catch it on YouTube tonight or this weekend. I'm expecting a big bump after today. Like Obama up 6-12 points going into the RNC.

Obaama's speech was nothing new. He basically repeated John Kerry's speech of 04. The guy really has no idea what he is doing and I am going to be counting down the days until the debates start when Barack doesn't have his teleprompter to feed him info. McCain will destroy him.

The speech was the best speech by any candidate in a long time. Anybody saying it was not did not watch it or just can't stand the fact that it was good. This was a big push for Obama and the democratic party. As for the same as the John Kerry speech you certainly were not watching.
