this lady just had a baby 5 months ago...a special needs baby at that...shouldn't she be raising her family instead of potentially being 2nd in charge of the country?

ok, so the magazine is legit. the fact the she won a pagent means what? Not trying to put words in your mouth but you sound kinda sexist. Because she won a pagent and was on the cover of a magazine she is unqualified? Obama has been on the cover of Time 7 times this year. what is the difference?

As for being sexist...I am saying it seems desperate because he picked a pretty girl that doesn't seem to have the qualifications to be president. Pretty much everyone agrees today on the blogs/tv that this is sort of a long shot/dark house/unexpected move. I am taking it a step farther saying it's desperation. Maybe it will work - voters clearly aren't the smartest people in the world...this country elected Bush a second time so who knows - clearly anything can happen.

She's simply not ready. Governer for TWO years. I woke up twenty minutes ago, so I haven't had time to look up her policies, but when I face her with Biden, I'm pretty confident in the Dems.

based on what? Like i said, for you, how many years of being governor or senator make you qualified? Some senators are more qualified in 5 years than others are in 25.
