basically all the things you listed are things he voted on. There are a lot that he "introduced" which just means he was one of a dozen or more that were behind one. The fact that he was involved in stuff is the definition of a senator. Give me a governor who has had to deal with a budget, policy on their own, etc.

My opinion on this is she is a good selection.

I do find it comical that people are saying, "She has no experience."

So, Obama has never managed more than 100 people in his life as a congressman and Senator, but he is more qualified to be President than a person that has been governor for 2 years and lead 600,000+ people and billions of $$$ in a budget?

She is going to be VP and the head of the senate. How is having 2 years of governor experience NOT enough experience to lead the senate and take action on tie breaks?

And the argument of, "she is just a heat beat away from being President" is just silly and borderline age bigotry (attacking McCain's age again). Obmama has absolutely no experience in managing people or budgets but he is just an election way from being President. When was the last time a VP had to step in to be President? Ford had to step in for Nixon and that was a LONG TIME ago.

how are people able to change their names now...i thought that was forbidden

Um, no. SCF brought back the option recently: https://www.sportscardforum.com/showt...ht=name+change

Regarding the pick - obviously a very surprising a choice, but I would have preferred Romney..or if it had to be a female, then Hutchison.

I would have preferred Romney myself, but I'm pleased with this choice. Also, from what I read Hutchison would have been a great choice, but is a VERY boring speaker. I just watch Palin today and she a good, motivational speaker.
