I am stunned that 08 Bowman Chrome is already on the red list. For 150 bucks you could probably pick up 2 boxes of that stuff. Bowman is something you cant sell right away as they are prospects, so you really need to purchase to hold onto. I really like it because not only do you get autos, but you can get Xfractors, Red, Orange, Black, Blue and all the other refractors. Bowman Chrome is a great product and that is what I would suggest for your money. By far the best you have on the list, all the football you have listed has not been very solid from what I have seen this year

I got some reviews that it was a waste of money and the hits were crap because there is no good prospects.

Why not 2 boxes of Topps Chrome football? You'll get two autos, plus all the parallels like Bowman Chrome baseball but w/ more stars. Plus this is a decent rookie class and the price of the boxes will surely go up like every other year.

LOL, then why did you make this post if you already know what is better than what?

Topps Chrome is better than Threads. The only good hit that you can even make your money back on in Threads would be the Letterman. You get a bunch of GU, and RC base Autos which aren't worth much because it's not a big brand for RC Autos, unless they are letterman.

Topps Chrome is definately the way to go if you want to go football. It's cheap ($55-$60 a box) and you get GOOD RC Autos plus good refractors and such with a shot at 1/1s, red refractors, superfractors, etc.

I already made most of my money back from my Chrome football boxes and I still have one of the autos and plenty of the RCs/refractors/etc. left to trade/sell. Good luck either way, but I agree w/ Roy Williams about Threads, thats a MUCH harder product to pull something nice from, they have autos of lots of guys that didn't even get drafted let alone make a team.
