Fake TOPPS RED INK Premiere question
So I have seen like 20 Mendenhalls hit ebay since they came out. My question is this: Do these cards have the topps sticker on the back or is it just a plain looking back on the card?

I came across your thread and thought I'd take a look for myself... I found this on EBay as well:
http://cgi.ebay.com/08-TOPPS-ROOKIE-PREMIERE-CHAD-HENNE-RED-INK-AUTO-RC-10_W0QQitemZ290257170661QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item29 0257170661&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C24 0%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
and this:

Looks like there is NOT a sicker on the back... Bad move on the part of Topps

I guess you'll have to stick with the graded ones... Bad move on Topps part.

Id say there would be a sticker. Everytime I have had an auto from Topps there has always been one. That looks fishy to me.

Photoking is also one of ebay's most notorious fake patch criminals, so I wouldn't trust him even if he provided a video of RM signing the card at the Rookie Premiere.

I am glad someone else has noticed this. I have seen way too many Jonathan Stewart red ink autos. Looks like I will be staying away from the rookie premiere autos this year. If anyone has any more info, that would be great. It looks like topps dropped the ball big time on this. Hopefully we can get some clarification as to how we can spot a fake, but it doesn't look good.

yeah, thats why I used his example...
WTH though, how can I tell. I mean there literally have been like 20 Mendenhalls that have hit, and Topps doesnt answer any emails.....
Anyone have a way to check, seems there's a few interested in here for an answer...
thanks in advance.
