I opened a box of Triple Threads a couple of weeks ago and got shorted the auto as well. I sent Topps a letter, the box barcodes, and a receipt and they just sent me an auto yesterday. It was a whopping Nyjer Morgan bat/auto #ed to 99 which sells for $4 on ebay. Good luck getting something better than this junk.

Hey Brandt - I got my replacement.....

Daric Barton Rising Star Sepia #/75. Pretty crappy, except at least the GU jerseys are orange mesh which kinda makes it an interesting card.

Oh well - at least they sent *something* - it could be much worse. UD has been known to simply send you a few packs of some crappy low end product instead of replacing the auto, so at least you can't knock Topps compared to that.

Let us know what you end up with.

you would think for putting you through hell and back....they would actually send you something decent. But they sent you Nyjer Morgan bat/auto #ed to 99. That's bs. They should be over apologetic and compensate you with a nice card.

I would love that card! He is destined for stardom...he was one of the Mariners best prospects and was traded for Eric Bedard...half of the deal has gone south (Bedard) all thats left now to create another Mariner Miracle is for Jones to become a superstar! The Mariners hate talent! This guy's gonna be big big big!

Topps is usually good about speedy replacement (as long as the product is somewhat current at least). However, you can't always guarantee the quality. I just sold two Adam Jones TTT on eBay (Sepia and Emerald). I don't think I got more than $10 or $15 a piece but I may be mistaken. Looks like based on the other feedback you got here, maybe you should just hold this one instead of trying to sell it right away.
