    Palin's Speech - Weigh In

    Hey guys

Just curious what everyone thought of the speech. Obviously some like her and some don't so not really looking to get into that, but just looking for opinions of her speech.

i thought she did pretty well....I dont know what the point of these conventions are really other than a publically funded showcase of the candidates...but she seemed composed and ready for tonight...she introduced us to her family and then starting throw jabs & puns left & right...good job

Should have just hired Jerry Seinfeld--at least people would have recognized him

I'm quite sure Conservatives will go on and on about how it was "right on" and shows she's ready for leadership, etc., etc. Seemed like the usual political speech to me - a little better than most, far from outstanding.

I agree. She will be crowned as the next best thing since the invention of the microwave.

Most of her speech was about her family and a ton of clapping/cheering throughout...but she conducted herself well.

What's sad is McCain's speech is expected to be the third best of both conventions.

I think she could improve on learning how to speak at large conventions.....even though I hate when people cheer and boo in the middle of a speech it's part of politics....

Aany way I love this one "Some politicans use change to promote their careers while other politicans use their careers to promote change" or somethign like that can't remember the quote exact but it will be one of those remember in years to come

Ya he's not a great speaker but what is good is Obama finally agreed to have a debate against McCain and last time that happened Obama didn't do to well
