    It's not just you man...he hit a lot of wide open guys, but he threw 1 INT and at least 3-4 more that should have been but the defender dropped them (and I quit watching after the 3rd quarter). That has been the knock on Eli all along, bad decisions at times and lots of INTs...looks like not much has changed.

    is it me or does is manning overrated? Beside all the wide open WRs he has hit he hasent show much ACC and he just threw a pick as i was typing this!

    He did win a Super Bowl, how is he overrated? Now, has he underachieved in the regular season? Yes

    I know a lot of people will disagree and yes it was a team effort, but David Tyree won that Super Bowl. Eli did crazy, unbelievable things to avoid the sack, but it was a bad throw and Tyree made an unbelievable catch to save the day. How he did not get the MVP I'll never understand.

    ...Tyree made an unbelievable catch to save the day. How he did not get the MVP I'll never understand.

    I agree, Tyree should've been awarded the MVP hands down...

    As for last nights game, Giants defense did pretty well considering 2 of their key players are gone/out. NY started the game looking awesome, not sure what happened after the 1st half Jacobs made some great moves, bulldozing over some of those Redskins, something he just has a knack for. All in all a decent game, glad to see NY start out the season with a win under their belt.
