Chicago area shops??

I haven't found one I really like and trust. I have gone to a few in the Hoffman/Schaumburg area but there are a few I haven't gone to either. If anyone knows of a great shop in the north west area, plmk. I heard there is a shop called silver reef or something along those lines that was a great shop.

I'm in NW as well, don't know about any around here. I used to go to Zeke's but he took his shop online and closed the doors to the store down on Irving Park.

I wanna try Rockford because the one around me in Wisconsin SUCKS, and Rockford is only 45 minute drive, have you been to it?

There is one that is called Big Johns and Little Debbies in the northwest area of Chicago

I haven't been to rockford, that is about an hour away from me. If it is a good shop though, I would make that trip.

Silver reef doesn't really have much in the shop anymore IMO, and their prices are too high on singles, not much wax either. There is a shop that's named Country sportscards and cigars on Schaumburg road, they are decent, although a little high on single prices. There's also another on Schaumburg road, just north of Barrington rd. It was called Legends, but recently changed ownership, I haven't had a chance to go by and see the new place, but met the new owner, seems ok. Hope that helps, I'm from Hoffman Estates.

thanks that actually does help. I have been to country, and they really didn't have much selection. I have been to the other one and I have heard not so good things about the owner and hobby practices. We don't have much selection eh?

Big Johns and Little Debbies just moved to a bigger location so they probably won't be in a phone book...I'll pm you their old number
